Location: Miami, Florida

Villa Oak is a transformation of an existing Miami residence, conceived through an extensive renovation that preserves much of the original footprint while completely redefining its architectural identity.

The project reinterprets the language of the contemporary Floridian home through generous openings, deep overhangs and a continuous relationship between architecture and tropical landscape. Existing volumes are refined and reorganized to introduce greater scale, natural light and a stronger connection between interior and exterior spaces.

Exposed painted brick becomes one of the defining materials of the house—a reference to the residential architecture of Bal Harbour's golden era, reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. Dark metal elements, warm wood screens and precise architectural detailing create contrast while reinforcing the vertical proportions of the façade.

Rather than erasing the existing house, Villa Oak builds upon it, transforming a familiar Miami residential typology into something quieter, more open and distinctly contemporary.
