Project: Architecture & Interior Design Design

Location: Wellington, Florida

Located along the northern edge of a 30-acre equestrian property, Haras House is conceived as a collection of single-story pavilions immersed in the landscape. Private and social areas are clearly defined, yet connected through covered walkways, gardens and open-air passages that allow the house to breathe.

At its center, an intimate courtyard and pool create a protected world within the larger property—a place of quiet and privacy surrounded by the different wings of the residence. Long rooflines, deep overhangs and a restrained palette of concrete, dark wood and metal establish a contemporary interpretation of rural architecture.

The breezeways become the conceptual link between the residence and the horse compounds, creating a shared architectural language across the property and connecting domestic and equestrian life through movement, proportion and materiality.
