Project: Architecture & Interior Design Design

Location: Miami, Florida​

Set within a dense, mature landscape, Fortune House is conceived as a residence shaped by its relationship with nature. Rather than dominating the site, the architecture settles between the existing trees, allowing their canopies, shadows and changing light to become part of the house.

 

A restrained material palette and strong geometric volumes are softened by deep terraces, cascading vegetation and large openings that extend the interior toward the garden. At ground level, the social spaces unfold around a covered outdoor living area and an organically shaped pool, creating a continuous environment for everyday life between inside and outside.

 

The upper level provides greater privacy while remaining connected to the landscape through framed views, shaded openings and planted terraces. Throughout the house, light and vegetation continuously transform the perception of the architecture.

 

A house defined not only by its form, but by the landscape it inhabits.
